1975   Born in Osaka, Japan

1997   Graduated from the Faculty of Painting in Jishibi College of Fine Arts

2001   Tokyo Wonder Wall Awards Committee Chairman's Prize

2002   Selected Artist-in-Residency Program at Snug Harbor Cultural Center in New York

            A Recipient of the Japanese Agency for Cultural Affairs Grant

            Intern at Frank Stella Studio

2004   A Recipient of the Pola Art Foundation Grant
